Hi Sara!
Between the leaves changing, President Johnson’s inauguration (welcome PJ!) and fall break approaching, it sounds like there has been a lot of excitement at Wellesley! And, there has been a lot of excitement in your life too. I am so glad you have had the chance to travel so much this semester and I am happy to hear that you are enjoying it!
Fall is here too! The temperatures are cooler which means I can break out the sweaters and boots I brought.
Last weekend I went to Copenhagen which was absolutely incredible. I am working on writing an entire blog post about my trip that will hopefully be up soon. It was such a fun trip and I had the chance to meet up with lots of friends from Wellesley and home. I also stayed in a hostel which was a completely new experience for me. I have stayed in hostels with people I know before but never by myself. Luckily, the people in my eight person room were very kind and I became friends with them!
School is in full gear. I have finals in three weeks (we take two courses for the first half of the semester and two for the second half) and then I start my new courses! I am really excited because for the second half of the semester, I am taking a course called Dutch Literature & The Golden Age. Don’t worry, it’s in English ;).
Other than that, this month has been full of exploring cool cafes and lots of running. I am really excited because next week, I am traveling to Florence, Italy! Visiting Italy has been a dream of mine for a really long time and I cannot wait to go there.
Love & Liefs,
Shannon
