September 1st hits and I am ready for Fall. Cozy socks, yummy candles, gorgeous leaves, pumpkin everything. What is there not to love? Here are my favorite ways to welcome Fall with open arms and embrace everything it has to offer:
- Visit a pumpkin patch.
- Go to your favorite candle shop and smell the fall scents (and buy one if you want!)
- Drink a Pumpkin Spice Latte (YUM)
- Curl up with a cup of tea and a good book.
- Carve the pumpkins you got from the pumpkin patch!
- Cozy up at a football game and cheer on your favorite team
- Roast pumpkin seeds.
- Go star gazing
- Donate to a food bank & go volunteer at one if you can
- Get out your scarf and sweater collection–it’s time!
- Take a walk through the fall foliage. Snap a picture of you throwing leaves in the air (perhaps yours will work better than mine!)
- Have a campfire and roast s’mores
- Eat too much candy corn
- Attend a Halloween party
- Try the Pumpkin Spice Oreos. Personally, I LOVE them.
- Visit a haunted house with friends.
- Make caramel apples (TIP: If you don’t have cooking supplies, just buy apples and caramel dip!)
- Buy a flannel shirt (I love the ones from American Eagle in the men’s section)
- Make a list of everyone you are thankful for. Send them a text or note reminding them how much they mean to you.
- Decorate your dorm or apartment with fall decor.
- Take advantage of the fall leggings and boots combo.
- Drink hot apple cider
- Watch your favorite Halloween movies (Hocus Pocus, Casper & Monster House are good ones if you don’t like scary movies!)
- Try a new recipe: this Pumpkin Bread looks divine.
