Dani and I have been itching to go to the beach all summer. We actually attempted to go to Santa Cruz last month but, we got a late start and got stuck in terrible traffic. Having learned our lesson, two Sundays ago we woke up at 7:00 AM, packed a lunch and hit the road.
We made it to Santa Cruz without a hitch and got a great parking spot with a cheap meter. We arrived before the boardwalk was even open!
Dani and I wandered the boardwalk and eventually the pier. We purchased the obligatory Santa Cruz hoodies and spent a long time watching the sea lions.
Overall, Santa Cruz was a really cool place. It got a lot more crowded in the afternoon so we were glad we got an early start.
I’m going to miss this cute boy a lot. We are soaking up the last bit of our time together before I head back to school.
